Liverpool First is supported by a small team of people who are responsible for supporting partners to deliver the City's Vision.  We receive funding from our partners that helps us deliver our role.

Our main functions include:

• Co-ordination of Liverpool First partnership activity
• Deliver consultation and development mechanisms for the Sustainable Community Strategy including working with partners and communities to identify key priorities; looking at barriers to achievement and practical actions to deliver these outcomes through joined-up working via the Liverpool First partnership
• Provide robust performance management systems to support the delivery and monitoring of the Local Area Agreement every six months
• Promoting and publicising Liverpool First nationally, regionally and locally; including the production of Liverpool First quarterly newsletter and briefings
• Supporting Liverpool First Executive Board, Liverpool First Forum, Executive Advisory Group, its subgroups, Strategic Issue Partnerships; Task Groups; delivering elements of their work programmes
• Bring the Council key partner agencies and stakeholders together to disseminate the vision for Liverpool and understand the key objective and priorities to secure Liverpool’s economic, social and environmental wellbeing
• Work to achieve co-ordination and coherence across partner agencies to ensure services and activities effectively contribute to community’s objectives and priorities; promote innovation and, where appropriate work with partners to reshape and join-up mainstream services and activities to more effectively deliver the Local Area Agreement.
