Liverpool First Executive Board

The Liverpool First Executive Board meet every two months. They are the decision making group, driving and coordinating delivery through Liverpool First, its Strategic Issue Partnerships (SIPs) and Liverpool’s Local Area Agreement (LAA).

The Liverpool First Executive Board focuses on the delivery of actions to address the strategic issues relating to the economic, social and environmental regeneration and wellbeing of the city. It does this by:

  • defining and agreeing the strategic policy direction for Liverpool First to be implemented through the Strategic Issue Partnerships (SIPs)
  • ensuring the implementation of the Liverpool First annual programme, the Liverpool First Sustainable Community Strategy, Local Development Framework and Local Area Agreement
  • ensuring the effective coordination and joint working of all the key strategic agencies in the city
  • developing and coordinating policies and joint initiatives to secure the regeneration of Liverpool and the best delivery of services
  • developing and sharing information, knowledge and examples of good practice
  • reporting on progress to the Liverpool First Forum.
