14 January 2010 - Local involvement network launches website

A NEW website has been launched today by the Liverpool Local Involvement Network (LINk) to give Liverpool residents their say on health and social care.

www.liverpoollink.org.uk offers visitors the opportunity to post their comments on health and social care services in Liverpool. Visitors can also communicate directly with the Liverpool LINk.

Liverpool LINk logoLINk is an independent network made up of local people and groups. LINk’s job is to find out what people like and dislike about health and social care services and then work with the people who run these services to create lasting improvements.

Liverpool LINk Chair, Tim Oshinaike, said: “We want to get as many people as possible involved in LINk, this can be anything from just offering their comments on Health and Social care services to actually working with our teams, helping out at events or working on specific projects which will help improve health and social care in Liverpool.”

He added: “We hope the new website will help get more people involved in our work as it gives residents an easy way to contact our team, find out more information, help with the work we do and share their views on health and social care in the city.”
