Liverpool Compact consultation
THIS CONSULTATION IS NOW CLOSED.
Liverpool First partnership is currently seeking views on the Draft Compact for Liverpool.
The Liverpool Compact is a written agreement between local statutory agencies and the voluntary and community sector. It is wide reaching and covers amongst other things; shared values, acceptable ‘ways of working’, and sustainability. It commits signatories to develop trust, improve their mutual understanding and to work together. Local compacts are not legal documents: they put the emphasis on people working together to make them work.
Availability
A copy of the draft Compact is available below. If you would like a hard copy of the report or wish to receive the document in an alternative format please telephone 0151 296 7553.
Consultation period
The consultation commences 1 March and the deadline for all comments is 23 April 2010. The Compact is a wide-reaching document with implications beyond the membership of the partnership. We would ask therefore that you circulate this document widely if you feel it appropriate.
